My son recently had a case that Ryan Helmick helped miraculously dismiss. Since everyone’s circumstances are different and a dismissal is never guaranteed, I would rather speak to Ryan’s character and work ethic. Outside of that case, I reached out one evening on a separate matter I could only consult with an attorney about—expecting (and willing) to be charged if he even happened to write back, and only if it was actually him and not an assistant. Instead, Ryan called me that evening, had a real conversation with me, and guided me in the right direction. The beauty of working with Ryan is that he cares. He’s willing to give his time, he doesn’t pass you off to someone else, and he is accessible. From the day we walked into his office I loved his work ethic. He had a busy week, still took us in, and it was clear he already had a lot on his plate—the evening he took my call was also well past his normal hours. You can tell he’s dedicated to his craft, and you have to respect that. Ryan is not passive. He is the type of attorney you want and need when you have to get things done and are not willing to go down without a fight.
